The WB #27 and EB #28 Portland sections of the EMPIRE BUILDER meet at Cooks (MP 65.4) on the ex-SP&S Fallbridge Sub. The recent delays on the BNSF Northern Transcon have resulted in meetings such as this, which even under the current Revised Schedule with additional padding, are not a normal occurrence. According to the Revised Schedule, the EB #28 is due in at Bingen-White Salmon (MP 75.5) at 3:16 PM, the WB #27 is just under 6 hours behind schedule, due in at Bingen-White Salmon at 9:34 AM.
